Senior Domestic Competition

ABOUT

The Senior Domestic Competition caters for adults of all ages. The minimum age to qualify for senior domestic competition is 15 years of age. With a variety of sections, competitions are available for every one of all abilities.

Competitions run from Monday through to Thursday nights. All senior domestic competitions operate within Rowland Cowan Basketball Centre.

Competitions are conducted for Open Age Men and Women.

Prize money is offered to all grand final winners.

SUMMER 2024/25 REGISTRATION

Registrations will commence from 23rd July 2024 – 5th September 2024.

Summer 2024/25 Information

Team Registration cost for Summer 2024/25 is $75 per team.

  • SDBA Summer 2024/25 Individual Player Registration fee $55.00
  • Basketball Queensland Insurance Fee (annual fee, if applicable) $76.64
  • Basketball Australia Game Development Fee $5.50
  • Team Sheet fee is $100 per week. Team sheet fees covers door entry for all players and spectators
  • Forfeit fees
    • More than 24 hours notice $100.00
    • Less than 24 hours notice $150.00
    • Unnotified/No Show $200.00
  • Matches will run on a 50-minute or 45-minute schedule (night pending) with 20-minute halves
  • Game times are distributed evenly from 6.00pm to 10.10pm and anywhere in between.

Thursday – 24 Rounds (Start Date: 19/09/2024 – 27/09/2025)

Finals to proceed after regular rounds

No games are played on or between the following dates:

October 7th – King’s Birthday

13th December 2024 – 12th January 2025

Competition will resume from 13th January 2025

Team Captains can only send you an invite to join the team. BasketballConnect is not Gameday. It does not support a one team link for all. Please contact your team captain to invite you to the team.

  • All players must register to the team via the invited link from the team captain to be able to play.
    No registration, no play!

SUBMIT A FORFEIT

Southern Districts Basketball has partnered with Teammo to help teams connect with the association. Teammo is an online app that takes the hassle out of collecting sports payments. It also allows teams to connect to their sports association for payments & communications not no extra fee.

Forfeits will be processed via the app only. Emailing or phoning in is a thing of the past. To process a forfeit download the Teammo app from the Apple Store, Google Play or sign in via Desktop.
